STUCKEY 50 YEARS IN BRUNSWICK

This year we celebrate coming to Brunswick in 1969, 50 years ago. Stuckey Tyre Service was established in Flemington Melbourne in 1966. From there it moved to 858 Sydney Rd Brunswick 1n 1969. The premises was originally a Dunlop Tyre Service. It had became too small for them but ideal for our small business. From 1972 we were growing quickly, having entered the Dunlop Racing business. Our early service vehicle was a converted Ford bus which was permanently parked outside the business. As the business grew we were forced to rent separate warehouse space to house our burgeoning stock of Dunlop race tyres. Finally 1n 1988 we purchased our current premises at 828 Sydney Rd Brunswick. This was a godsend, allowing us to store our entire stock, as well as our 2 service vehicles plus delivery utes.
