Congratulations to Eddie Maguire and Simon Vandenberg who took their 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo to outright victory in the inaugural Targa Hellyer Gorge.
In second place were Greg Garwood and Allen in their 2008 Porsche GT3RS, followed by Smith – Smith in their 2010 Audi TTRS. Although we didn't take out the top spot, the next seven cars all crossed the line on DUNLOP tyres.
In addition to these placegetters, over half of all competitors chose the dominant Dunlop rubber, as did winners of early Modern, Classic and Showroom classes.
Of all cars entered, 52% were on Dunlop tyres, 14% Kumho, 12% Yokohama, 7% Toyo, 7% Bridgestone, 7% Hankook.
