Since Goodyear consumed the European and American markets for Dunlop tyres there has been the view that their overall plan was to rebrand the entire range of Dunlop Motorsport tyres. This has now begun to hapen. The Dunlop Sportmaxx Race 2 tyre range has been rebranded Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport R.
