TRX

Michelin Classic TRX

The invention of the TRX by Michelin in 1973 was the first instance of tyre and rim being designed to work together as a single unit. The new TRX rim was designed with a lower, flatter flange than that of conventional rims. The bead of the TRX tyre was also altered to suit this new rim design and the result is a more gradual curvature of the tyre sidewall giving exceptional directional stability and ?on the limit? handling, whilst also allowing for a comfortable ride.
