The Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally, first round of the SA Rally Championship, has been won by Rob Devenish and Lyn Carr from Victoria in a Datsun 280Z, on DUNLOP tyres of course. Rob used the dominant DZ03G tyres in a new special compound to dominate in both dry and wet conditions.

Coming home in second place were 2 times SA Rally Champion Matt Selley and co-driver Claire Ryan in a Subaru WRX Sti. 

In 3rd place were Craig Fox and Naomi Tillet in their Subaru WRX, also on the DUNLOP rubber.

The day two field was diminished by a high attrition rate on day one, with 14 teams not making it to the end of stage 10.  A further 7 competitors didn't finish on day two, with mechanical failure being the most common cause of DNF's over the weekend.
