Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis have won the Victorian Championship in their Subaru imprezza WRX, with a little help from DUNLOP tyres.

The Akademos Rally, final round of the Victorian rally Championship, was held in the Alexandra/Buxton region in Victoria, and consisted of four stages each run twice.

Driving a conservative pace the duo finished behind Brendan Reeves/Rhianon Smyth and Nathan Reeves/Scott Spedding, both also in Subarus.

Following Mark and Simon were Warren Lee/David Lethlean, in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 2, also on the DUNLOP rubber.
