Winners Weeks & Crunkhorn

Queensland's Kevin Weeks and Bec Crunkhorn have taken the honours at the 2008 Lake Mountain Sprint. They finished with a total time of 40m 48.92s run over 9 Stages up the 10km road. It was dry conditions all weekend as Weeks charged to the lead in his 1975 Porsche 911 RS. His Special Stage 6 time was also enough to take out the official 'lap record' at 4m27.05.

Daniel Schulz and Rick Schulz had a very strong final day moving up to second position in their 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 RS, triumphing over Doug Lehmann and Andrew Booker by 7 seconds.

All three top cars used the highly successful DUNLOP DZ03G tyre, as did the majority of the field.

DUNLOP tyres were used by 65% of cars, Bridgestone 24%, Yokohama 6% and Kumho 6%.
