The Victorian Rally year is over and new Champions have emerged. Dunlop's leading contenders for outright honours this year were Mark fawcett and Simon Ellis. They took an early lead by winning the first event and held on to finish the year with equal points to Justin Dowell and Matt Lee. However the Championship is decided on the best 6 results so Dowell and lee were declared winners on a count back.

Brian Semmens and David Leoncini once again took out the 2WD class in their Datsun, followed by fast charging newcomers Tim Stuchbery and nathan Paparella. But Tim would be a winner in other areas taking out P4 Driver, Clubman and Novice awards. Third were paul Batten and Craig Jones in the giant killer Hyundai.

Finally, The talented Kenway family of Steve and Lauren completed their dream of taking out P6.
