Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis have extended their lead in the Victorian rally Championship after a close fought battle with second placed team of Justin Dowell and Matt Lee at the Rally of Melbourne Nov 10-11.

Mark and Simon won heat 1 by 1 minute 57 sec from Batten and Jones, also on DUNLOP tyres. Another 24 seconds behind were Dowell and Lee in their Mitsubishi Lancer.

In heat 2 Dowell and Lee got the upper hand with Fawcett and Ellis a mere 14 seconds behind.

Mark fawcett and Simon Ellis use the DUNLOP DZ86R rally tyre on their Subaru. For the important Rally of Melbourne the pair chose to match the outstanding grip of the DUNLOP tyres with the proven strength of the COMPOMOTIVE TH3 wheels

The final and deciding rally will be the George Derrick Memorial Rally Dec 8th.
