Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis have won the Cerberus Stages rally, round 1 of the 2007 Victorian rally Championship.

Driving their 1998 Subaru Imprezza for the first time since 2005, The pair immediately won the first stage and went on to dominate the rain sodden and shortened event with their DUNLOP DZ86R rally tyres. The winning margin was over 1 minute.

Equal second were Brenton Kaitler and Jenna Kelly in their newly built Mitsubishi Lancer, also on the dominant DUNLOP tyres.

Next were William Robertson and Michael Cains, also in a Subaru, also on the rain loving DUNLOP tyres.

First in the two wheel drive Championship were Bill Sullivan and Jason Hague in their Daihatsu De Tomaso, also on DUNLOP tyres.

To complete the clean-sweep for DUNLOP, The Hyundai Excel Championship was won by Paul Batten and Craig Jones in their DUNLOP shod Excel.

The DUNLOP tyres were so successful in these conditions, that seven of the top 10 cars were using them.
