News & Info » Jan-2007 RMIT wins Australasian Formula SAE
RMIT Formula SAE
RMIT Racing have won the Australasian FSAE Event held at Werribee in December 2006. In all, 27 teams competed from universities as far afield as Japan, Denmark and Munich. It was a close battle all the way to the end with Western Australia but RMIT emerged on top. RMIT must now rank as the best in the world, having won in UK, Detroit and now Australia.
Of particular interest is the unique tyre and wheel assembly used to maximise low weight and high grip for this vehicle.
Stuckey Tyre Service is proud to be associated with the RMIT Formula SAE Team, and looks forward to the next international competition at Detroit in 2007. If you would also like to support Australia's best at Detroit, go to http://www.fsae.rmit.edu.au
