Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis have won the final round in the 2005 Victorian rally Championship in their Subaru WRX.

In the Begonia Rally, held around Ballarat in Victoria, mark took his Subaru to a 3 minute win, using the new Dunlop DZ86R rally tyre.

Using the same tyre, Mark also won the first championship rally in April, giving him overall second place in the 2005 series.

Coming second in the Begonia Rally was Ian and Ros Martin also in a Subaru and third was Steve Ashton and Ro Nixon in their Group N Lancer Evo7. All three leading teams used the new Dunlop DZ86R, showing its dominance in the series this year.
