Jim Richards & Porsche

Dunlop's domination of Tarmac racing continues with the running of the 2nd rallye Burnie June 25-26.

Last years winners John and Jason White had to settle for 4th place as Jim Richards and Barry Oliver stormed to a strong victory in slippery damp conditions. Between them Richards and White won all the stages, but John White was sidelined by an off, and ultimately a puncture.

In second place this year were Warwick Rooklyn and Linda Long in their 4WD Mitsubishi Lancer Evo7, whilst 3rd place was taken by Martin Notaras and David Stephens .

Fifth place was won by Maher Algadri in his WRX whilst Barrie Smith took 6th in his Evo8.

All top six cars used the ubiquitous Dunlop DZ02G.
