Once again the Victorian Rally Championship is being dominated by Dunlop tyres. Congratulations to Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis (pictured left in their Subaru) on winning the opening round of the Championship (David Nutter Ford Used Cars Rally) on Dunlop tyres.

Second outright was the Subaru of reigning champions Peter and Chris Montgomery, also on the proven Dunlop tyres.

Both leading cars chose the new Dunlop DZ86R rally tyres (pictured below) which is proving very popular this year.

As well as taking first and second places outright, Dunlop tyres also took:

First Group N with Steve Ashton and Ro Nixon in their Evo 7,

and first 2WD with Bill Sullivan and Michael Forshaw in their Daihatsu,

thus covering all major positions.
