Once again the Victorian Rally Championship has been won on Dunlop tyres. Congratulations to Peter & Chris Montgomery (pictured left in their Subaru) on taking the Championship by storm this year winning 3 out of 3 rallies finished. Unfortunately their perfect score was ruined by a DNF at the Bega Valley Motors Rally in June. Despite this they finished 6 points clear of second place. Peter & Chris changed to the new Dunlop DZ86R rally tyre in June and have won every event since.

Congratulations must also go to Ben Fawcett and Tony Boyd on sharing the 2-Wheel Drive Championship, despite also missing a vital event. Due to a broken collar bone Ben had to sit out the final rally at Wangaratta. Ben switched to the new Dunlop DZ86R tyre at the second round at Bega and won 2-Wheel Drive class in that event as well as in the Rally of Melbourne in October.
