Dunlop tyres continue to dominate the tarmac on both sides of the Tasman. In Targa New Zealand Jim Richards led home Tony Quinn; both in Porsches and both on Dunlop tyres. Results were:

• 1st - Richards/Oliver - Porsche GT3 - DUNLOP
• 2nd - Quinn/Wenn - Porsche 996 Turbo - DUNLOP

On this side of the Tasman Warwick Rooklyn led home a Dunlop trifecta at the East Coast Targa. Results were:

• 1st - Rooklyn/Long - Mitsubishi Evo7 - DUNLOP
• 2nd - Notoras/Stephens - Mitsubishi Evo8 - DUNLOP
• 3rd - Alford/Best - Nissan GTR - DUNLOP
